Abstract: How much do you know about the Salish Sea? What is the Salish Sea? Is the Salish Sea warming? What is the current condition of the Salish Sea Ecosystem. Join Dr. Perry as he discussed these questions and more in his presentation.

Dr. Perry is an Emeritus Scientist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), and an adjunct faculty member of the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries at UBC. He holds a B.Sc. from the Department of Zoology and a Ph.D. from the Departments of Zoology and Oceanography, both from the University of British Columbia. His research expertise includes the structure and function of marine ecosystems, ecosystem-based approaches to marine management, and the human dimensions of marine ecosystem change.
