As global warming continues, wildfires are becoming more frequent, more intense and cover larger areas of Canada’s forests. Forest management needs to be updated to face this challenge as human influence is an important factor in this trend. The CSEB has written to the Canadian government to express our concern and ensure that sensible steps are taken to address this issue.
