The Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is considering recommending two populations of Lake Sturgeon (Western Hudson Bay DU1 and Saskatchewan-Nelson River DU2) for protection under the Species at Risk Act. If listed under the Act, recovery plans will be needed for these populations. For more information, see the attached letter.
